Summer Carper

Summer is a public history graduate student studying museum exhibition design. Since January of 2021, Summer has explored the the history of medicine and sexuality, often through the lens of the Eugenics Movement. She currently works at the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus as the Teaching Kitchen Coordinator, facilitating programs with children and adults of all ages on food history and nutrition.

Summer served as an assistant editor for volume 39 in 2022 and the head editor for volume 40 in 2023.
